    I’ve always wanted to become an entrepreneur and work with people. I can remember always watching TV shows like Million Dollar Listings and it got me super excited knowing I could get paid for the work I put in. I most enjoy the fact that I can schedule my day the way I want it. It great knowing how big a deal buying a home is for someone and the fact they chose me feels amazing! The team atmosphere Smart Avenue has makes it fun coming to work, and I actually look forward coming into the office. I think my biggest fear getting started was having no idea when I was going to get my first paycheck. Smart Avenue helped me get my first few sales right away and it was so much less stressful having those big checks coming in. The training at Smart Avenue is incredible and it probably would have taken twice as long to get started anywhere else.

    As cheesy as it sounds, I first started looking into real estate from watching the shows on HGTV. I enjoyed how all the homes were unique and how helping someone buy or sell a home was such a major life event. I loved the people I got to meet and it was fun to getting to know them on a personal basis. It was also nice that Smart Avenue has the best deal for selling a home. There are many that are skeptical of the services Smart Avenue provides for the price, as it almost sounds too good to be true. Pretty soon though I think the more the name gets out there at the rate they are growing, the easy it will be.

    I like real estate because it’s reassuring to know that people will always need a home. I like sales but I felt different because everyone wants a house, and I just really have to help them find the right one. I enjoy the people at Smart Avenue so much because it’s such a fun place to be and the environment pushes everyone to constantly be better.     I originally looked into real estate because I was searching for a way to make more money. I was already doing good but wanted to try and get above that $75-100,000 mark. More importantly, I just wanted to get paid for what I felt my hard work ethic was worth. I was concerned about the costs of getting started and how long it was going to take to get my first check. It was tough at first working another job while trying to get my real estate career off the ground but I loved the feeling of something new and exciting that pushed me outside my comfort zone. Now that this is my full time career, and I’ve exceeded my income goals in just a few years, it feels amazing! I absolutely love how every day is different and that I don’t have a sense of disappointment when coming into the office. It feels great coming to place where you know you’re needed and also valued. My career is growing and with the opportunities available at Smart Avenue, I actually feel like I am making a difference in our clients’ lives and also all of the agents on our team.

    Being a new Agent I was so fearful of how I was going earn a steady income and not live paycheck to paycheck. I know there’s never a perfect time to get started, but when I learned more about the opportunity with Smart Avenue, it seemed like a real chance to go for it. The training, leads, support and money I am making is so much better than I imagined. To have sold over 30 homes in my first year, where the industry standard is less than 12 feels amazing! Next year is going to be even better and I can’t wait to build more relationships with people and continue doing something I truly love.
